PROBLEM: Faced with a failing heating and cooling system that was inefficient, in constant need of repair, and costly to operate, a local county corrections facility went looking for solutions.
SOLUTION: AES Building Services technicians performed a facility audit that included a review of current assets. A plan was then developed and identified the equipment needed to maximize operational efficiency. The plan also outlined a project review process, a preliminary budget, and several key performance requirements for vendors.
The client agreed to include AES Building Services in the implementation phase of the project to review system controls, chiller units, generators, and boiler equipment. AES Building Services also assisted in assembling the project scope and schedule to ensure the project was completed on time, within the budget, and with minimal disruption to the facility’s operations.
